Adoptable Pet of the Week: Luna
I bet you thought that kitten and puppy season was only in the spring, but these little kittens will prove you wrong. The mom (Luna) is just a year old and her two sons are now 3 months old.
Their mom Luna did her best to find enough food to provide her children the nutrition needed to give them a chance at life, but living on the streets isn't easy. Luna had four children, but sadly two of them were not strong enough to survive. Luckily a good person brought the family to the Jefferson County Animal Resource Center and the wonderful staff at the Ivan Animal Hospital were able to save the mom and the two brothers that are now being bottle fed and growing strong.
Luna and her children have been through a lot and now they are looking for someone to give them the life the fought so hard to have. If you are looking for a sweet mom or maybe a kitten or two, then please stop by the Jefferson County Animal Resource Center to check in on the family and see how precious they are.
