How Community Voting Works

After submissions close, The Jefferson Review will publish each eligible entry as an individual photo post on our Facebook page, identifying the artist by first name, age, and contest category.

Voting opens Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at noon and closes Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at noon. All times are Central Time. Contest posts will be published for the opening of voting.

To vote, select the Like reaction—the thumbs-up—on the original entry post published by The Jefferson Review. Other reactions, comments, and likes on shared copies will not count. Voters may support more than one entry.

Sharing is optional and is not required to enter or vote. If you choose to share an entry, remind friends and family to open the original Jefferson Review post and like it there.

The entry with the highest number of qualifying likes in each age category at the voting deadline will win. Winners will be announced November 18 after results and eligibility are verified, and parents or guardians will be contacted through the email address used to enter.

Whether your young artist loves bright autumn leaves, colorful pumpkins, or adding their own creative touches, we cannot wait to see their work. Download a sheet, enjoy some family coloring time, and help us celebrate the creativity of Jefferson County’s kids!
