Candidate for State Senate Brings Local Musicians Together for Community Event
Jeff Abney’s campaign will host the “Jeff for JeffCo Jam Session” June 27 at The Hideout in High Ridge, with food donations collected for the Jefferson County Rescue Mission.
HIGH RIDGE, Mo. — Jeff Abney, Democratic candidate for Missouri State Senate District 22, is bringing local musicians, neighbors, and supporters together for an afternoon of live music and community later this month.
The campaign’s “Jeff for JeffCo Jam Session” is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, from noon to 4 p.m. at The Hideout in High Ridge. The event will also include a collection of nonperishable food donations for the Jefferson County Rescue Mission.
The event is expected to feature performances by The Holy Handgrenades, Tyler Sutton, George Williams, David Hagen, Chelsie Schobernd, Red Adams, and other local musicians.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live music, visit with neighbors, and meet Abney as he continues his campaign across Jefferson County.
“This event is about bringing people together and having conversations about how we can build a stronger future for our community,” Abney said.
About Jeff Abney
Abney is a candidate for Missouri State Senate District 22. According to his campaign, he was raised in Fenton, attended local schools, and comes from a family of union workers, nurses, teachers, and blue-collar professionals.
A U.S. Army veteran and former active-duty Sergeant, Abney has also been involved in coaching youth sports, assisting seniors and veterans with benefits, and advocating for fair laws. His campaign says he is running to bring accountable, solution-oriented leadership to Jefferson City.
