Adoptable Pet of the Week
Meet Chewy, a big, beautiful dog with an even bigger personality! Chewy was recently found wandering through a neighborhood, and since no one has come forward to claim him, he's now searching for a loving new home. Believed to be a Rottweiler and Mastiff mix, this handsome fellow is approximately three years old and fully grown.
Chewy absolutely loves to play, especially when his favorite rope toys are involved! He has plenty of energy and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. And don't be surprised if you hear a low grumble while you're playing. It's part of his playful personality! The more he grumbles, the more he's letting you know how much fun he's having.
If you're a fan of big, friendly, playful dogs, Chewy might be your perfect match! He loves going for walks, is housebroken, and already knows basic commands. With his wonderful personality and enthusiasm for life, he's ready to bring plenty of companionship and fun to the right family.
Stop by the Jefferson County Animal Resource Center to meet Chewy in person. Give his favorite rope toy a few tugs, share a little playtime, and who knows? This lovable big guy just might tug on your heartstrings, too!
