Adoptable Pet of the Week

[PET NAME]

Hi… um, hello human. If I could talk (I practice every day, but it just comes out as “woof”), I’d tell you my name and my whole life story. The people at the shelter think I’m about a three year old shepherd mix. I was found wandering, which sounds brave, but honestly? It was a little scary. And then I came to this place with all the barking and the strange smells and the new human faces—I didn’t know what was happening. I was afraid at first… but can you blame me?

Soon I learned something: the people here are kind. They give me food, soft places to rest, and gentle voices that tell me I’m a good boy (I am a good boy, just to be clear). Once I know you, really know you, I will give you kisses until the sun goes down… and then, just when you think I’m done—surprise!—more kisses.

I love tug toys and chasing balls with my whole soul. Although, I do have one question: why do humans always want the ball back? That part feels like a flaw in the game design.

Mostly, I just wish I could tell you that I’m ready now. Ready to love someone, and ready for a furever home. If you come meet me, I promise I’ll try to say everything with my tail, my eyes, and maybe a few extra kisses.

My ID# is 834757 and my adoption fee is $50. The fee includes vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test and microchip. I am already neutered and ready to go home with you as soon as you meet me.
